Three charged with murder over 2023 shooting of Sheffield man Abdullah Hassan

Three people have been charged with murder after the fatal shooting of Sheffield man Abdullah Hassan in 2023.

The 25 year old suffered a single gunshot wound on Callow Drive in Gleadless Valley shortly after 1.30am on April 9.

30 year old Alex Taff, of Springfields in Catcliffe, appeared before Sheffield Magistrates' Court earlier and has been remanded into custody.

He will be before Sheffield Crown Court on March 4.

28 year old Osai Williams, of HMP Lowden Grange, is charged with Hassan's killing, along with using another to hide a firearm, possession of crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis, possession of a CS gas cannister and possession of a bladed article.

Andrew Horton, 46, of HMP Doncaster is also charged with murder.

Both are due before Sheffield Crown Court on March 3.

Two men remain out on police bail in connection with the shooting, with a further six people being released under investigation.
