Fire crews tackling blaze on City Road in Sheffield

Emergency services are on City Road in Sheffield this morning - with reports of a fire close to the junction of Manor Lane.

We are being urged to avoid the area while fire crews work.

A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: "We currently have four fire engine in attendance at a fire on City Road, Sheffield - close to the junction of Manor Lane.

"Please avoid the area while crews work to bring this incident to a safe conclusion."
