Man dies in Rotherham single vehicle crash

A man's died in a single vehicle crash at Rotherham.

South Yorkshire Police say it happened on the A57 Worksop Road at the junction of Ryton Road at 7.22pm on Thursday (23rd January).

It's believed a black Mercedes C200 left the carriageway and hit trees

The driver - a man aged 48 - was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident.
