A prolific Doncaster shoplifter has been banned from every One Stop store in South Yorkshire.

30 year old Katie Hudson, of no fixed address, targeted stores across the area between 21 June and July 7.

She admitted to 11 counts of theft during that period, as well as two previous thefts in May along with assaulting a shop worker.

Hudson was jailed for a total of nine months at Doncaster Magistrates Court and haded a Criminal Behaviour Order banning her from all South Yorkshire One Stops.

She is also banned from the Asda on Spring Lane, Balby.

PC Vicky Green, of South Yorkshire Police, said: "Retail workers do not come to work to be abused, harassed or assaulted by shoplifters.

"When the offending is relentless like in this case, we will always seek to obtain CBOs to protect workers, businesses and shoppers from offenders like Hudson and we hope this order reaffirms our commitment to tackling retail crime.

"If anyone sees Hudson entering a One Stop store or the Asda in Springwell Lane upon her release from prison, please report it to us as she is breaching the terms of her order.

"Only by reporting this information and shop thefts as a whole can we take appropriate and proportionate action to continue tackling retail crime and we are grateful for the support and cooperation of One Stop and other stores in Doncaster in this regard."
