Ex-Doncaster prison worker jailed for sexually assaulting colleagues
He admitted to nine counts of sexual assault and two counts of attempted sexual assault at HMP Moorland.
A former Doncaster prison worker has been jailed for four years and one month, after being convicted of sexually assaulting colleagues.
30 year old Aiden Evans, of Turnberry Court in Bentley, admitted to nine counts of sexual assault and two counts of attempted sexual assault at HMP Moorland.
The offices happened while he was at work, as well as during work social events.
Detective Constable Scott Jarvis of South Yorkshire Police, said: "I would like to thank the victims in this case for not only their bravery in coming forward and pursuing this case, but their patience and continued resilience throughout the investigation and court process."
"Without them this individual would no doubt have gone on to continue his offending and escalating predatory behaviour.
"Evans denied his offending throughout the investigation but succumbed to the mounting evidence and sheer volume of victims who came forward to speak out against him.
"He caused immeasurable trauma and upset to these victims whose day-to-day jobs were filled with fear and anxiety due to his actions. I am pleased to say that he is no longer employed by His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service and is barred from any such future employment.”
