Doncaster man jailed after being caught driving with weapon

He was also convicted of breaching a driving ban, and driving uninsured

A Doncaster driver has been jailed, after he was caught in possession of a weapon behind the wheel.

41 year old Marcin Foksinski was also found to be in breach of a driving ban, lasting until 2030, when he was caught driving a VW Caddy with cloned plates in Armthorpe on January 29.

When questioned, Foksinski, provided false details and refused to cooperate with officers.

He was found to be driving a car registered to a different person and without insurance. A police baton and cannabis were discovered inside the vehicle.

Foksinski, of Chequer Road, admitted to possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, driving whilst disqualified, use a vehicle on a road without insurance and possessing cannabis.

He was jailed for 20 weeks on February 21.
