Call for employers in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire to know about sexual harassment law changes
From October - legal changes will come into place - meaning more prevention training will be needed
There's a fresh call for employers in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire 'be aware' of upcoming sexual harassment law changes.
From October, better training will be needed in the workplace to try and prevent it from happening.
Richard Spinks' daughter, Gracie, was killed five years ago by her stalker in Duckmanton.
The 23-year-old did report Michael Sellers when they worked together, before he fatally stabbed her to death.
He went on to take his own life afterwards.
Gracie's Dad, Richard explains:
"Gracie obviously was in a position where she was stalked by a supervisor, so it was difficult for her to really report him.
"But in the end it got so much that she did report it to the senior management."

She did report him at work - which led to Michael Sellers getting fired.
Gracie's dad Richard tells us more about what happend:
"It didn't happen straight away with Gracie, she did tolerate quite a lot of stalking, and then she realised it just became too much.
"She reported it to management and the perpetrator was asked to leave.
"It's very difficult to approach your management when it is your supervisor or your line manager in those situations, but it's a decision that you have to make.
"But I think the more that employers understand the rules and regulations and what they must do now and these changes that are going to be in place - I think will make the workplace a lot safer."
Michael Sellers from Sheffield took his own life straight after he stabbed Gracie to death in June of 2021.
