Barnsley FC confirm loan signing of Ipswich Town goalkeeper Cieran Slicker
He joins Reds until the end of the 2026/27 season
Barnsley FC have confirmed the loan signing of Ipswich Town goalkeeper Cieran Slicker.
The 23 year old Manchester City Academy graduate joins Reds until the end of the 2027/28 season in League One.
He spent much of last campaign on loan at Barnet, recording 15 clean sheets during his time in north London.
Speaking to the Barnsley website, Silcker said: “After last year, the next step was key for me, and I think this is the perfect step."
"It’s a massive club with a rich history and that’s what I want. I want to play in front of great fans in a stadium like this.”
