Barnsley FC sign striker Makenzie Kirk on season-long loan from Portsmouth
The 22 year old is also a Northern Ireland U21 international
Barnsley FC have confirmed the signing of striker Makenzie Kirk on a season long loan from Portsmouth.
The 22 year old join Portsmouth from St Johnstone last campaign, making 14 appearances during the Championship season.
He has also earned 13 caps for Northern Ireland's U21s, netting twice.
Speaking to the Reds website, Head Coach Daniel Stendel added: "Makenzie is a young striker with good qualities and a strong desire to improve. He works hard, likes to press from the front and has shown that he can score goals at a good level.
"We believe this is a good environment for him to continue his development and we are looking forward to working with him."
