Man arrested in Barnsley after wraps of heroin found in 'cheeky' place

Two men have been arrested in Barnsley after police found wraps of heroin concealed in a 'cheeky' place during a traffic stop.

Officers spotted a suspect vehicle in the Lundwood area last Thursday (March 13) at around 11pm.

Two men were inside the vehicle, with one found to be in possession of thousands of pounds in cash and a mobile phone believed to be used for drug dealing.

Police later found 19 wraps of heroin concealed in the man's pants, with a further 100 discovered by PD Cole behind the dashboard of the vehicle.

A man aged 30 has been charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, as well as acquiring or using criminal property.

The driver of the car, aged 40, is charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply.

Both are due before Sheffield Crown Court on April 14.
