The father of missing Doncaster teenager Andrew Gosden says the family "still miss Andrew all the time" and - 19 years on - they "have no resolution of any kind."

14 year old Andrew left his home without warning on September 14 2007 and later took a train to London, where he subsequently vanished.

Police have continued to search for him since and have pursued various lines of enquiry in an effort to find out what happened.

In a statement released today, South Yorkshire Police wrote: "Sadly, Andrew hasn't been seen since that date, and today, on the 19th anniversary of his disappearance, we are thinking of Andrew's family and all those closest to him"

"We remain in regular contact with Andrew's family who continue to share updates on their story and ongoing efforts to find him via a blog, which is run by his dad Kevin."

In a blogpost written to mark the difficult milestone, Andrew's dad Kevin Gosden wrote:

"I very often write a short blog for Andrew’s birthday in July. This year, I found myself literally having no idea what to write. Not one thought. Zero...."

"A little later, as I reflected on it, I realised that I would end up writing a blog about not writing a blog.

"Some of it comes down to the ongoing battles with depression and anxiety, some of it simply because nothing has changed and never seems to. We still miss Andrew all the time and have no resolution of any kind."

In the post he also praises the work of charity Missing People, which has continued to champion efforts to find Andrew over the years, as well as supporting the families of other missing people.
