Three men deny murder charges over fatal crash in Gorseinon
They're accused of killing teenager Ceiran Evans following a collision in July
A world champion kickboxer, Tyler Ford, 18, has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, attempted murder, and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Ford is accused of killing Ceiran Evans, also 18, from Gorseinon, Swansea, South Wales, on 9th July of this year.
He also faces charges of attempting to murder another individual and causing them grievous bodily harm with intent.
Appearing before Swansea Crown Court, Ford, who has claimed the title of world kickboxing champion nine times, denied all charges.
In addition to Ford, two other men, Elliot Truelove, 33, of West Cross, Swansea, and Liam Thomas, 18, from Morriston, Swansea, also denied charges of murder, attempted murder, and grievous bodily harm with intent.
A fourth defendant, Trisha Thomas, 36, pleaded not guilty to assisting an offender.
Prosecutor Matthew Roberts KC announced that the trial is scheduled to begin on 11th January, with expectations to extend the duration from five weeks to six weeks.
The allegations stem from an incident involving a collision between a car and an off-road bike on Pen Cae Crwn Road, Gorseinon, on the 9th July.
Judge Paul Thomas informed the defendants of an additional hearing to take place in December, with the date yet to be determined.
Currently, the defendants remain in custody pending further proceedings.
