Man charged with murder after death in Holyhead
A 33-year-old man has appeared in court and been remanded in custody
A 33-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of a 53-year-old man in Holyhead.
Martin Ward, of Kingsland Road, Holyhead, was arrested and charged.
Emergency services attended an address on London Road during the early hours of Saturday 17th October.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ward appeared at Llandudno Magistrates Court earlier today.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Caernarfon Crown Court tomorrow, Tuesday 20th October.
Detective Chief Inspector Richard Sidney said: "I would like to thank the local community for their assistance whilst our enquiries continue.
"A policing presence remains in the area for reassurance purposes.
"As charges are now authorised in this investigation, I would urge members of the public not to post anything online that could be prejudicial to future court proceedings or undermine the criminal justice process."
