A 14 year old has been arrested after bomb disposal experts were called out in Pembrokeshire.

Snowdrop Lane in Haverfordwest has today reopened after a cordon was set up yesterday.

Members of the public have been thanked for their patience.

A police spokesperson said: "Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a suspicious object located in Snowdrop Lane, Haverfordwest at around 10:40am on Sunday, September 06.

"The Explosive Ordnance Disposal team were made aware and attended the scene to examine the item.

"The road was closed to ensure the safety of residents, and we would like to thank them for their patience.

"A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to make an explosive device with intent to endanger life and remains in police custody.

"Investigations are ongoing."
