Tributes paid to two men from Poole who died in East Dorset crash

Two men from Poole have died following a collision on the B3078 near the junction of Lumber Lane in Knowlton, East Dorset.
The collision, which occurred at 6.05pm on Saturday 13th December 2025, involved a black Audi A4 and a blue Volkswagen T-Roc, according to Dorset Police.
Emergency services attended, but both drivers, a 24-year-old man and a 57-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 57-year-old man has been identified as Peter D'Arcy. His family shared a heartfelt tribute, saying:
“Dad was 57 years old and taken from us far too soon.
“He leaves behind his three children, Kyle, Lucy and Jack, as well as his partner Tara and her two daughters whom he loved deeply.
“He was a strong, devoted family man and will be greatly missed, forever loved and always remembered by all who knew him.”
The 24-year-old man has been named by his family as Robbie Kenneth Williams, who was also known by the name Robbie Diffey.
His family described him in their tribute:
“Robbie Kenneth Williams (Diffey) our beautiful, loving, caring, funny, mischievous boy.
“We promise to look after both your baby girls. You’ve left a huge hole in all our hearts.
“We will forever and always love and miss you.”
