Three teenagers arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Southampton released

Three teenagers previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Southampton have been released with no further action needed.
The incident, which happened on Above Bar Street on Wednesday night, was initially reported as a group attack with the victim having his head stamped on.
Further enquiries, including CCTV analysis and witness accounts, have clarified that the victim was assaulted by a single male, causing him to fall to the ground.
Police are actively working to identify the individual responsible.
The victim remains in a serious condition at the hospital.
Authorities continue their appeal for witnesses who have relevant information to assist in the search for the lone attacker.
