Man critically injured following stabbing in Portsmouth
Police launch investigation after Cosham attack
A man is in critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in Portsmouth yesterday (11 March) afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Hawthorn Crescent in Cosham, where they discovered the victim with what they described as "a serious puncture injury."
Road closures were immediately implemented around the area following the incident.
Parents were seen waiting outside the nearby City of Portsmouth College to collect their children.
Detectives have initiated a full investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
