Family pays tribute to man killed in Cowes fire
Lucas Scutt remembered as a beloved son, brother, and friend
The family of Lucas Scutt, a 24-year-old man who tragically died in a fire in Cowes, have released a heartfelt tribute in his memory.
Emergency services were called to Ronsons Close at 3.32am on Friday, 26th June following reports of a fire at an address.
Lucas Scutt, who was from Cowes, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family expressed their grief, saying:
"Our family is completely devastated by the loss of Lucas, a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. He brought so much joy, love, and laughter into our lives, and his loss leaves an unimaginable void.
"We are also mourning the loss of his beloved pets, who also passed away alongside him.
"We, as a family, ask that our privacy is fully respected by the media at this time as we attempt to come to terms with this profound tragedy."
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Lucas’s death.
Three men remain on bail after being arrested on suspicion of murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
