Two teenagers have been arrested following a knifepoint robbery in Dudley.

Police were alerted to a bike being taken from a man in Greenfields Road, Kingswinford, at just after midday yesterday (1 October)

The suspects fled in a vehicle which was later spotted by traffic officers at around 4.30pm.

The car was brought to a stop in Copse Road, Netherton, and the occupants tried to run off.

However, two 17-year-old boys were detained in the area shortly afterwards.

A search of the vehicle then led to a knife and wraps of cannabis being recovered.

The teenagers have both been arrested on suspicion of robbery, and one of them was also detained in relation to having a knife and drugs.

They both remain in custody for questioning.
