Six men arrested after violent disorder in Wolverhampton
Police increase patrols following Staveley Road incident
Six people have been arrested following reports of violent disorder in Wolverhampton.
Police were called to Staveley Road at around 4.45pm on Monday (27th October) after reports of a disturbance.
Three men were found with stab injuries and were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Six men have since been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and remain in custody for questioning.
Officers say enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We understand the community concerns in Wolverhampton, and we're aware how incidents like this make you feel.
“We are focusing on suppression, investigations and community engagement. Therefore, you will continue to see more officers on the streets.”
