West Midlands Police, in collaboration with Greater Manchester Police, has arrested three individuals in Wolverhampton as part of an investigation into the large-scale supply and distribution of illicit drugs.

The arrests occurred on the morning of 7th October when officers executed two warrants in the city.

At an address on Penn Road, a man in his 60s was apprehended on suspicion of conspiracy to supply controlled drugs, with £1,000 in cash and approximately 50 Class C tablets seized.

A second address in Wednesfield led to the capture of a teenager suspected of being concerned in drug supply and theft of a motor vehicle, alongside a woman in her 40s suspected of drug supply and child endangerment.

Officers uncovered approximately 2,000 Class B tablets and a stolen motorcycle, with blister packs found in a baby's cot raising concerns.

Detective Inspector Rich McCorry from Greater Manchester Police's Serious Organised Crime Group flagged the potential harm posed by organised criminality, especially to vulnerable individuals, including children.

The investigation is ongoing as police remain committed to dismantling organised crime groups and removing harmful substances from communities.
