Update on major new road linking the M54 motorway to the M6

Telford and Wrekin Council has welcomed progress on the long-awaited M54 to M6 link road.

The Government says the £200 million project could open within five years.

It’s expected to ease congestion, removing thousands of vehicles from local roads.

Officials say it could also boost the local economy by hundreds of millions of pounds.
