A 22-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a teenager was reportedly shot in Wolverhampton.

Tyriq Bingham was arrested last night and faces multiple charges.

He's been charged with attempted murder, possession of firearms, robbery, and possession of a class B drug.

Officers say a 19-year-old man was shot in the leg at Peel Street Car Park on 12th October 2025.

Bingham is due at Wolverhampton Magistrates' tomorrow morning (11th March).

Anyone with information on the incident is being urged to contact police by calling 101 quoting log 2744 of 12th October last year.
