Two women arrested after Wolverhampton house fire
No reported injuries as two properties damaged
Two women are in custody following a fire that damaged two properties in Wolverhampton.
Reports of a house and garden fire were received just before 7.15pm on Mount Road.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Police have since arrested two women, aged 36 and 56, on suspicion of arson, and they are currently being questioned.
Authorities in the West Midlands are working alongside West Midlands Fire Service and other partners in dealing with several fires across the region.
