Two more people have been arrested in relation to the murder of Jermaine Smith in Wolverhampton.

A 22-year-old man was arrested this morning on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

A woman in her 30s was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

West Midlands Police are continuing their investigation after the death of Mr Smith, 30, who was shot in Lilleshall Crescent on 25 October.

Eight people have been arrested so far.

Police are still appealing for information about the circumstances that led up to the death of Mr Smith.
