Two boys charged after gun and machete report in Dudley
The two 14-year-old boys have been charged with weapon offences
Two fourteen-year-old boys have been charged following a report of people carrying a suspected gun and machete in Dudley.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said "Officers from our firearms unit received a report of people in possession of a suspected gun and machete on Wolverhampton Road, Kingswinford, yesterday (31 March) at 6.25pm."
The suspected firearm was later found to be an air rifle.
The two teenagers have been charged with possession of a knife in a public place and having an air weapon whilst under 18.
They've been released on bail ahead of a court appearance on 15th April.
