Man arrested after teenager sexually assaulted on Tipton canal
A 37-year-old man is in police custody
A man has been arrested after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on a canal in Tipton.
Officers say the incident reportedly took place on the canal near Groveland Road on Monday morning (2nd February), between 10am and 11.30am.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
Officers are continuing to appeal for information, and are encouraging anyone with footage from the area to contact them by calling 101 quoting crime reference number 20/133979/26.
