Third man arrested following Telford stabbing

A third person has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Telford.
Today (Wednesday 12 November), a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder where he now remains in custody.
West Mercia Police received reports of an assault at around 8:30pm on Saturday 8 November at the playing fields on Wellington Road.
Upon officer arrival, a 20-year-old man had been stabbed and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. He has since been discharged.
An 18-year-old man and 17-year-old boy who were previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been released on bail.
