Telford domestic abuser jailed
Arron Moss, of Prince Charles Crescent in Telford, was sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday
A violent man, who attacked two of his ex-partners, has been given a seven-year custodial sentence.
Arron Moss, of Prince Charles Crescent in Telford, was sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday (Thursday 7 August) for eight domestic offences against two separate women.
The 34-year-old was arrested in November 2024, after a 999 call from a woman asking for help.
Detectives then carried out a number of enquiries, which revealed this was not the first incident involving Moss and his victim.
Officers also discovered that Moss has pled guilty in September 2024 to guilty to controlling and coercive behaviour, two counts of actual bodily harm, non-fatal strangulation and criminal damage, involving a different victim.
Moss was further charged with 10 offences for the November 2024 indicent. In May 2025 he pled guilty to three counts of actual bodily harm, with the other charges being dropped.
Yesterday (Thursday 7 August) Moss was sentenced to seven years for the following eight offences from both incidents:
Controlling and coercive behaviour
Five counts of actual bodily harm
Non-fatal strangulation
Criminal damage
Detective Constable Izzy Broxton said: “Moss subjected both his victims to horrific domestic violence, in one of the worst cases we have seen.
“Thanks to the bravery of both his victims coming forward and supporting our investigation it led to this dangerous offender being given a custodial sentence.
“The fear of violence these women have had to live with is unimaginable, and we hope today’s result gives them the opportunity to move forward with their lives knowing Moss is in prison.”
