Teenager arrested after several Dudley burglaries

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in relation to six car key burglaries

A teenager has been arrested in connection with several burglaries, where high value cars have been stolen in Dudley.

West Midlands Police said a 16-year-old boy has been arrested in relation to six car key burglaries and an attempted burglary in March and April.

The incidents happened in Halesowen, Netherton, Kingswinford, Dudley and Cradley Heath.

The teenager remains in custody for questioning.

In a statement, the force said: "We know the impact of such crimes on our communities, and we'll take action against anyone who commits offences."
