Teenage boy charged in relation to fatal stabbing in Smethwick
He will appear before Wolverhampton Youth Court tomorrow
A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection with the murder of Zeshan Afzal, who was fatally stabbed in Smethwick two weeks ago.
The teenager, who cannot be named due to age restrictions, is set to appear before Wolverhampton Youth Court tomorrow (7th March).
Five other teenagers have already been charged in relation to the death of 18-year-old Zeshan, who was found with serious injuries on Oldbury Road following an incident just before 9pm on 20th February.
Another individual, a 16-year-old boy, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
The investigation continues, and authorities are appealing for information which could assist in achieving justice for Zeshan and his family.
