It is despite the King's brother being stripped of his royal titles.
Andrew stripped of his peerages...
The King decided to strip his brother of his peerages and the title of prince last Thursday (30th Oct) amid the continuing fallout of the Epstein scandal.
The former prince denies sexually assaulting the late Virginia Giuffre, who alleged this happened on three occasions, including when she was 17, after being trafficked by Epstein.
Andrew Mountbatten Windsor will also be stripped of his honorary naval rank of vice-admiral, the Defence Secretary has confirmed.
Prince Andrew Drive in Malinslee...
Since then, queries have arisen as to whether other titles will need to be amended in relation to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor being stripped of his peerages.
Telford and Wrekin council said Prince Andrew Drive in Malinslee would not have it's name changed due to the cost and time taken to make the change.
A spokesperson said: “Changing the name of an existing street would require a consultation with residents of the street, with at least two-thirds of them to be in favour of a change.
'Significant administrative impact'
"Amending an existing street name also has significant administrative impact, from residents having to change their address details -
"to the Royal Mail, energy providers and the emergency services having to change their records and systems.
"Given the costs involved, Telford & Wrekin Council does not propose to change the name of Prince Andrew Drive in Malinslee at this time, but we will continue to listen to residents’ views.”
