Police in the West Midlands have issued a fresh appeal and have named a man in connection with a murder in Wolverhampton.

Mohammed Maneer Khan, aged 38, who is known as Manny and has links to the Wolverhampton area.

He is wanted over the fatal shooting of Duaine Mills, 28, last Friday (19 September).

Police were called to Leicester Street in the city just after 3.10am on Friday to reports of shots being fired.

Duaine was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second man, in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains critically ill.

Senior investigating officer Jenny Birch, from our Homicide team, said: “We’ve been working around the clock since Friday’s shooting to establish what happened and who was responsible.

“We have already made a number of attempts to locate and arrest Khan, and now we are asking for the public’s help so that we can bring him into custody.

“Duaine’s murder has left his family devastated and we are determined to get justice, and the answers they deserve.”
