Man dies after car hits wall in Wolverhampton
A man has died after the car he was driving hit a wall in Wolverhampton this morning.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Ambulance staff arrived to find a car which had collided with a wall. The driver, a man, was trapped and in a critical condition. Ambulance staff worked with fire colleagues to rapidly extricate him from the car and commenced advanced life support. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, the man’s life couldn’t be saved.”
Metro services between Wolverhampton and Priestfield were cancelled while emergency services dealt with the incident.
