Ongoing investigation after pedestrian found with life-changing injuries in Ellesmere

Officers are continuing to appeal after the collision last month

Officers are continuing to appeal after a man was found with life-changing injuries in Ellesmere last month.

Emergency services were called out to a collision on Elson Road on 24th January, where a pedestrian was seriously injured.

The collision is believed to have happened between 12.40am and 1.50am.

Investigators are looking for anyone who may have seen the pedestrian, a man in his 40s, walking from the Ellesmere Hotel towards Eastwick on the B5068 in the early hours of the morning.

They're also keen to hear from anyone who saw any vehicles acting suspiciously or those that might have damage consistent with a collision.

Officers have been conducting house-to-house inquiries and reviewing CCTV footage.

Anyone with any information or footage is being urged to contact the police, quoting incident reference 35i of 24th January.
