Woman arrested for series of shop thefts in Dudley and Stourbridge
Nearly £1,000 worth of items stolen from store
Police have arrested a 37-year-old woman after nearly £1,000 worth of items were stolen from stores in Dudley and Stourbridge.
The arrest followed reports that the woman, wanted for multiple thefts earlier this month, was spotted at a store on Dudley High Street just before 9.30am on 11th August.
Officers from the Neighbourhood Crime Team had been investigating several theft incidents from a store on High Street, Stourbridge, on the 3rd, 4th, and 6th of August.
Hundreds of pounds worth of goods were reportedly taken during these occurrences.
Thanks to a swift response from the team, the woman was arrested on suspicion of three counts of theft and remains in custody for questioning.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to resolve the matter and ensure accountability for the thefts.
