Couple robbed of jewellery at knifepoint in Oldbury

Police are appealing for information, after gold jewellery was stolen from a couple at knifepoint.

They were walking along Dudley Road East, in Oldbury, on 12 Sept, at 9.10pm when they were approached by a man, who pulled out a knife and demanded the woman hand over her gold jewellery.

The suspect took £8,000 worth of jewellery, including bangles and a necklace and walked away towards the Shinwell Crescent area.

The suspect is described as approximately 6ft tall, had a stocky build and was wearing a black hoodie, black gloves, and a distinctive pink face mask at the time of the incident. He is also said to have a Birmingham accent.
