Pair to face trial accused of murder of teenage boy in Peterborough
A 16 year old boy was fatally stabbed in April
An 18-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was fatally stabbed, with a trial set for later this year.
The victim, Baye Bireme Fall, was attacked near Orton Centre shopping centre in Peterborough on 12th April, according to Cambridgeshire Police.
A post-mortem examination confirmed that Baye died from a single stab wound.
Emidas Krutkevicius, 18, from Peterborough, denied the charge of murder at a hearing at Huntingdon Crown Court on Tuesday.
A 15-year-old boy, whose identity is protected for legal reasons, is also charged with Baye’s murder but was not asked to enter a plea at the hearing.
Both defendants are in custody and are scheduled to stand trial at Huntingdon Crown Court on 12th October.
