Anglian Water has repaired the burst water main that caused disruptions for Stamford and the surrounding villages overnight.

The local network is now recharging, and water supplies are gradually returning to normal.

Customers should see their supplies fully restored throughout the morning as the network stabilises.

To support those who may still be experiencing low water pressure or no water, Anglian Water has opened bottled water collection points at Normanton Car Park, Rutland Water, and Morrisons Supermarket on Uffington Road, Stamford.

The bottled water point at Normanton Car Park was set up to reduce traffic congestion around Morrisons and provide easier access for affected customers.

Anglian Water encourages anyone still facing water supply issues to visit one of these points to ensure they have access to water while services continue to recover.
