An event has been held for residents in Bourne to learn more about improvements being made to council homes.
South Kesteven District Council say 250 council homes will benefit from over £4 million of government funding through the Warm Homes - Social Housing Fund.
Homes will see the installation of air source heat pumps, solar PV panels and loft insulation.
Residents in Bourne and surrounding villages were able to ask questions about the new systems and gain practical information at the event.
Cllr Virginia Moran, Cabinet Member for Housing, said: “These improvements are vital for the long-term future of our council homes. By investing in modern energy-efficient heating systems and solar technology, we are helping residents to reduce heating costs, improve comfort and future-proof their homes.
“It’s great to see so many residents engaging with us at events like this, giving people the chance to get expert advice, ask questions, and feel reassured about the changes.”
More engagement sessions are expected soon.
