Police in Plymouth are seeking witnesses after an elderly man sustained serious injuries from a dog attack near The Sundial on Armada Way.
The incident occurred at approximately 9.15am on 1st August when a 79-year-old man was jumped at by a large black dog not on a lead.
The fall resulted in a potentially life-threatening head injury, and the man is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Authorities are urging the dog owner to come forward and are appealing to any witnesses or individuals who assisted at the scene to provide information.
