Man left with possible leg fracture in Plymouth hit-and-run

A man has been left with a possible leg fracture after a hit and run in Plymouth.
It happened at the junction of Ford Park Lane and Ford Park just after six o’clock on Sunday 16 November, when a black car knocked over the man and drove over his right calf as he crossed the road with his wife.
Police say several people stopped to help at the scene and they are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
In a statement, officers said: "We are seeking information regarding a hit and run incident which happened in Plymouth.
"On Sunday 16 November at around 6.15pm, we came across a pedestrian who was in the road at the junction of Ford Park Lane and Ford Park.
"We quickly established that he had been hit by an unknown black vehicle when crossing the road with his wife.
"The couple were heading towards the Hyde Park area at the time when a black car drove towards him, knocking him over before driving over his right calf.
"Ambulance were called and the man was taken to Derriford Hospital where he was treated for a possible leg fracture.
"Numerous CCTV enquiries have been carried out in and around the local area.
"We want to speak to members of the public who were also in the area at the time and came forward to assist at the scene.
