A man has been charged with attempted murder after an alleged incident in Torquay on Saturday (October 18).

Jordan Honey, 28, no fixed abode, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today (October 22) after being charged with a number of offences including attempted murder.

It follows an alleged incident in the Wellswood area of Torquay at around 3.15am on Saturday 18 October which resulted in a woman sustaining stab wounds to her hands.

He has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Exeter Crown Court on November 20.
