Man, 70s, hospitalised in Plymouth e-bike collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and footage

A man in his 70s is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash involving an electric pedal-assisted bike in Plymouth.

The incident occurred on Mannamead Road at approximately 8.10pm on Wednesday, 27th May.

The road was temporarily closed to allow for a police investigation.

Officers arrested the rider from Plymouth and confirmed that his next of kin have been informed.

Now, police are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage that may help their investigation.
