Witney company admits corporate manslaughter
Cotswold Rainwater Services Ltd will be sentenced next month.

A Witney-based company's admitted to corporate manslaughter - after a guttering engineer was electrocuted in Longworth near Abingdon.
Cotswold Rainwater Services Ltd had been charged in July with manslaughter and failing to ensure safety at work.
The charges were in connection with the death of 34-year-old Andrew Claridge - who was from Minster Lovell - in November 2024 at Hunters Moon House, Charney Road, Longworth. He worked as a guttering engineer. A port-mortem concluded that Mr Claridge died from electrocution.
The firm will be sentenced on October 9th.
