Man critical in hospital after assault in Oxfordshire village
A man and a woman were attacked in a property by men they knew
A man is in a stable but critical condition following an assault in Harwell.
Thames Valley Police say a man and a woman were attacked in a property on Talbot Road in the early hours of Saturday (18 July) by men they knew.
The victim, in his twenties, suffered head injuries, while a woman in her forties sustained minor injuries.
Detective Inspector Laura Gardiner is leading the investigation and has asked for the public's assistance.
"I am appealing to the public to help our investigation into this serious assault," said Detective Inspector Gardiner.
"If you have footage, or heard or saw anything in the areas in and around Talbot Close and Westfield between about 11pm on Friday and 3am on Saturday, please contact us," she added.
She further stated: "Please provide us with any doorbell, dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage from the area during these times. Even if you think the information or footage you have is small, it could be vital to our investigation."
