Serious injuries for man in Bicester collision

Police urge witnesses of two-vehicle crash to come forward

A man in his twenties is in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a road traffic collision in Bicester.

Two vehicles were involved in the incident at around 8.50pm on 18th April at the roundabout where St John's Street meets Manorsfield Road.

The crash involved a grey Vauxhall Insignia and a red motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle suffered a serious arm injury and remains in hospital.

No arrests have been made.

PC Mark Jones from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit is seeking witnesses.

Jones said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision, which left a man with serious injuries, to please come forward.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and has dashcam or CCTV footage, whether from vehicles, nearby homes or businesses.

This footage may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
