Man charged with attempted murder after Bicester stabbing

Thames Valley Police have charged a man in connection with an attempted murder in Bicester.

Michael Brits, 27, from Fair Close, faces several charges including attempted murder, possession of a bladed article, threatening a person with a bladed article, and outraging public decency.

The charges stem from an incident on Friday, 27th March, where a woman in her sixties was stabbed by a person known to her at an address in Fair Close.

She suffered multiple stab wounds but has since been discharged from the hospital.

Brits is set to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 30th March.
