Witness appeal after 15-year-old robbed

Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old boy was robbed in Northampton.
The incident happened on Thursday, August 20, between 4.30pm and 4.40pm, when a man pushed the boy off his e-scooter and rode off with it.
The suspect was a white man, aged 35-40, about 5ft 8in, of a medium build and with a dark brown beard all over his face.
He was wearing a navy-blue cap, a green construction type hi-vis, and dark trousers. He was also riding a bicycle which he left at the scene.
The scooter that was taken is described as a KUKIRIN G4 scooter. It is black around the front wheel and the stem up to the handlebars is also black.
The underside of the deck is grey with orange decal features that are squares and the frame around the back wheel has a black chunky rectangle line. On the deck towards the back wheel, the back footboard has red bolts in it.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
