Renewed call for witnesses after Northampton assault turns deadly
Two suspects now held on suspicion of murder
Detectives are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a fatal assault at The Old Bank in Northampton.
The incident occurred between 1:45am and 2:30am on Sunday, 5th July at the St Giles Square premises.
Sadly, a man in his 50s who was injured in the attack passed away in hospital on 6th July.
Two men in their 20s, originally arrested in connection with the assault, have been further arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
Investigators from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit are keen to hear from anyone who was present at The Old Bank during the early hours of Sunday morning and may have witnessed the incident.
